last sat i went cny visiting with my jc friends. this year, 5 of us went! the people who turned up this year were much more than last year, because last year there were only 3 of us. T.T vivien was grounded, so she didn't come. our first stop was wanyeng's house. we watched her cable tv at her house..'dream high', to be exact. haha. is that show really nice? i thought suzy couldn't act. anyway, so they started discussing about korean artistes and wanyeng kept saying she wants to gamble. but we refused, so..you shall read on to see whether she succeeded in making us gamble. :P

next stop was xiying's house. oh, her house has these very nice biscuits. they are addictive. hehs. xiying also has cable at her house, so we watched it too. after flipping through many channels and complaining about taiwan variety shows, we settled on taiwan news. lol right? we watch news when there are like, so many other channels on cable. anyway, taiwan news are actually pretty interesting. they report on stuff that may seem insignificant to us. for example, in singapore the news report on floods, what the MPs do, etc, but taiwan news report about this man who likes this particular woman then he started harrassing her, and other social issues. to me, i don't think these kind of news are really relevant to the public eh. they seem a bit like..tabloids.

we went to xueqin's house next. her house is just one bus stop away from xiying's, so we walked there. when we reached there, all we wanted to do was play wii. :P very fun eh! as predicted, we were stuck to wii for quite a long time. i want to play again qin er! :) then xueqin tried to make us help her finish her cny goodies. particularly the sweets, which she said she bought it especially for our visit. ha. her almond cookies are nice. :):)

after that we went to white sands to eat lunch. we ate at the japanese restaurant on the first floor. that was the first time i ate it, even though it had opened long long ago. haha. the food there not bad la, but a bit salty for me. after lunch we went to my house. the first thing they wanted to do when they reached there is do have a drink. because they are so thirsty after lunch haha. we sat and chatted about a lot of stuff. then we called vivien. although she is grounded, she said we can still go her house to visit.

vivien met us downstairs and gave us valentine's day presents :) chocolates and sweets! it was quite a long walk from my house to vivien's. xiying started complaining, because she had on new shoes and they are biting her. :x but her shoes very nice eh! pink de. :) she look like princess. hurhur. eh i sidetracked..okay when we reached vivien's house her hyper cousin greeted us at the door. she is so adorable! she kept jumping up and down and playing with vivien. then we played cards. no la, we never gamble. we just played cheat and a bit of 21 点. by that time we were too full so we didn't eat a lot of cny goodies at her house too.

the last stop is wanying's house. we walked a lot to reach her house. by that time our legs were hurting.. :( however, we persevered just to go see her house. haha. her mum and her sis greeted us at the door and started chanting, "welcome!" that kind of thing. haha so cute. we went to wanying's room to see whether there are any posters of shinee or taemin. in the end, there is just this small piece of shinee photo pasted on the wall. haiz, we are disappointed wanying. haha. then her mum cooked us mee sua and treated us to fried mushrooms. the mee sua ia super nice! hope we will have another chance to taste it again..

so that marked the end of our jc cny visit! it was really fun and i hope we can do it next year too! :)

on sunday, i went for another cny visiting. this time it's with my secondary school clique. the first stop is den's house. she said she wanted her house to be the first stop so that she don't have to wake up early. lol. in the end, when me, ml and yl reached there, she haven't even finish preparing! tsk tsk. subsequently, rs and manda came. we ate breakfast at den's house. egg sandwiches, fries and den's favourite pineapple tarts!

the next stop is meiling's house. before we went there, we sat at a pavilion near the bus stop to wait for winnie to come. while we were there, we chatted about our upcoming 'A' levels results :x and the interesting dreams we had. and a lot of other stuff la, because winnie took a long time to come. we reached meiling's house and sat down to watch this show on tv that teaches chinese idioms. i think it's a dvd or something la. then we went to her room. den borrowed her books and ml showed us the taiwan itineraries that she and tc obtained when they went to visit the travel agencies once. i started playing with rs's cam and took a lot of random pictures of her room. ha.

after that we ate lunch at tmart. ban mian! heh heh. they were talking about playing monopoly deal, so rs went to buy one. i think they wanted to make it a tg monopoly deal. aigoo is that really nice to play? anyway after lunch we took a bus to my house. unfortunately, they started playing monopoly deal at my house. i don't really like to play it because i don't want to analyse, i guess. however, i teamed up with winnie, so that's okay. :) they started eating potato chips at my house. can't believe they ate lunch already but they still can eat somemore. lol.

the next and last stop is yl's house. by then, manda had left to go her cousin's house. yl's mum cooked beehoon, so we ate some. i remember last year her mum cooked the same beehoon too! :) after that, we continued our monopoly deal game and rs left. while playing, den played english songs using her iphone and i got a healthy dose of english songs after so many months of listening to korean songs. :P den actually listen to korean songs like 'gee' and 'sorry sorry' eh! haha..i find it surprising. she said she only listen to famous songs. lols.

our cny visit ended at 7pm. every year, the number of people going to our cny visit just gets lesser and lesser. so are the number of houses we visit. so sad eh. i have a feeling, tg will just have a sub group la. haha like all those kpop artistes..then the sub group will be those people who go to most of the outings and organise them. oh tg have a family eh! let me show the family tree here. :P

okay i concede that this doesn't look like a family tree at all..sorry. it's really hard to illustrate. want to join our tg family? :) we have family rules one okay. i remember the first rule is : don't forget family rules. second: be respectful to elders. third: don't talk crap. haha. we all agreed that den had broken the third rule too many times. :P the rules were set once when we were being too high and started going crazy la.
