it's so true, so true, that it hurts. sometimes.

there is this particular picture that i saw at the end of last year. had not my friend told me, i would not have noticed. this picture had stuck in my head because the contrast is so glaring. in a year (just 1 year!), everything changed. i realised, there and then, that photographs really can capture the feelings, the innocence, the genuine smiles..

all your aspirations, your dreams, your hope for the future..captured in an instant. and then. you are wearied.

how did it come to this? we have lost ourselves.
