sorry for not blogging for so long. it has been really chaotic and busy these days. if not for the fact that i have to come online to fill in my cca registration, i doubt you will be reading this post today. haha. i still have homework to do, you know. =P

so we had orientation until last saturday. they were clever to eat into our sat so that we can start school proper on mon. bleh. on the first day of orientation, thurs, we had ORA, aka operation red alert. we played games around the school, something like treasure hunt. we find clues and solve the mystery. oh right, im in Triton! so is serene, shunzi, teckli and zhihui. btw, triton 3 rocks!! well, at first, i didn't like triton, mainly because it's green, and the green isn't nice. i was like, i don't mind going into any house as long as it's not triton! but fate is a weird thing. haiz. however, after that 3 days of orientation, i truly felt the dynamic and strong bonds formed in triton, so..i love triton now! haha.

okay, back to orientation. of course we had icebreakers first and got to know our class. our class have quite a few people who are not singaporeans. for example, some are from vietnam, malaysia and indonesia. very cosmopolitan wor. =P back to ORA. so we just went around the school playing games. each house represent an element, like phobos is fire, miranda is land, callisto is wind, triton is water, atlas is light. depending on which house the station is representing, we play games accordingly, like water games for triton, etc. basically we just played the whole day, and learnt mass dances.

on fri, we had MMM. as you notice by now, mj likes to use acroynms. A LOT. lol. MMM stands for mass meridian monopoly. for the whole day, we went around singapore(okay, maybe not so much, only around the central), with mrt as our transport. we went to the stations situated at mrt stations, and then we moved on to places around that area to play games and win points, like the area around the esplanade, that kind of thing. it was very tiring playing the whole game because time was limited and we ran all the way. i have never ran so much ever since napfa last year. haha. the whole day we had MMM, and by the time we rushed back to school(yes, we even have to run back to school because the first house to settle down get points), i had muscle aches all over. the game is pretty exciting, actually. =) in the end triton won the points for being the first house to settle down. yay!

on sat, we had GMS. great meridian seige. acroynms. =P there were water games played all around the school, and we were just very wet after that. however, because our orientation t-shirt is the dry fit kind, and the sun is really big, so even though we got real wet, our shirts dried up quickly. i had sunburn..sian. the sun is just so big. and then we practised for our finale performance as a house. during the finale, after all the houses have performed, we had mass dance, and sang the college anthem. like they said, i too believe that that would be the loudest college anthem i will ever sing in my jc life. lol.

that's orientation. although we tried to talk the teachers out into having an off-day on mon, but we failed. i remember we were chanting, "mon no school.." something like that. lol. i will stop here now, and i will blog about this week maybe during the weekends. have a nice day! =D
