updates? hmm..not much, i guess. oh right, we went back as co alumni and performed for the school on friday. there was only one dizi, which is me, and i have a small part of solo, so i was scared stiff. plus joel had a mike placed right beside me. so..if i blow even a note wrongly, the whole school knows. zz. well, the only thing i didn't tell him when we went on stage is that the mike is placed at the wrong direction. it should be on my other side, where the sound from my dizi is going to come from. oops. heh..sorry, im such a coward. =P
oh well, luckily the performance was great. i managed to hit the notes and played correctly. so..the last few days were spent in school, practising the songs and feeling amused when the students stare at us when we walked in in our home clothes. lol..pretty funny, their expressions.
on friday after the performance, me, winn and yl went out. we went to tampines mall first, bought a few stuff(or rather, it was winn who bought stuff), ate lunch, and went to bugis. winn treated us dessert at the foodcourt-their dessert is really very nice! you people should go try them someday. then winn had one of her colleagues give us a free plate of salmon rice from their pepper lunch stall. we were actually pretty full by then, but winn said they will waste the food in the end, so we were actually helping them finish the food. erm.
somehow, we manage the finish the plate of rice and salmon. it tastes very good, actually. despite being full. lol. then winn went to take a bowl of soup from the vegetarian stall. fyi, it's a big bowl. but the soup taste so nice we drank another bowl after that. haha. too bad ml didn't come..she loves soup. after that, we were feeling so full we left, because of obviuos reasons, we can't stay there and eat anymore. lol. we went to the arcade and played a few games, then we wanted to go bugis street, but when we saw the crowd of people there, we decided not to. then we went home.
i feel a little..no life staying at home all day. i have been reading books from the library. when you feel that we can't do much at home and you are running out of books, the library became your best friend. especially the tampines regional library. ha. i found out i prefer reading mystery and fantasy books to other books like maybe, the sister's keeper or the time traveler's wife(btw, i haven't finish that. oops.) they are more interesting. right now im reading a book by Jim Butcher. it's about this wizard, Harry, helping the cops solve crimes(to be exact, supernatural crimes) and a lot of things happened. i know it's fiction, but i kind of believe what it says. lol..same for twilight. i know, it's unhealthy, and i have to convince myself that there are no such things as vampires and wizards in the world. it's the 21st century, for crying out loud. wizards, maybe(erm. okay, maybe not), but vampires, no way. absolutely not those like the Cullens. lol.
cny is coming..im depressed, actually. man, the books are controlling my emotions.(and the tv. and all sorts of small, insignificant things that suddenly became significant when you don't have other more important stuff like school to worry about.) whatever, i just don't want cny to come. i don't want to step out of my house-i just want to stay at home and sulk. am i ranting? i think so. i really don't look forward to cny. is there something wrong with me? haiz. i need to get my life back soon. i really really feel like staying at home for the rest of my life, you know. oops. maybe having too long a holiday isn't that good.
oh well, i gotta go. facebook is proving to be quite a good distraction when im on the net. =p
