well, the first anime i watched is mahoraba. it's a nice anime about a girl who has split personalities. this girl, called aoba kozue, is the landlord of narutaki sou, with her tenants, tamami, ryushi, megumi, sayoko, asami, yukio and johnny. kozue is a really nice, sweet and caring girl, and when she is surprised, she will turn into another personality and returns to her original form after sleeping or passing out, and she will have no memory of what happened. her 1st personality is saki, who is a very fierce girl, but she cares about others, and will pass out with liquor and is afraid of butterflies. the next personality is nanako. nanako is a very cute girl and has the personality of a 6-year-old. she likes to draw and loves ryushi, so she will always stick with him. the 3rd personality is chiyuri. she loves to doll people up and will force people to dress up if they refused to. she is afraid of guys, so when she sees ryushi, she will most of the time, faint. lol. "correct!" is her catch phrase. the last personality is natsume. she is a very shy girl, who is very good at magic and card tricks. at first, she doesn't speak to anyone, but soon, she opens up to ryushi. tamami is kozue's best friend and goes the same school as her. i thinks she is a lesbian because she is only good to kozue, and is really mean to ryushi. she, in particular, is a cold and inconsiderate person. but she is the person who makes me laugh all the time. perhaps it's because she is biased towards kozue. lol. ryushi is actually cousins with kozue. although it was not stated in the anime, bu i think kozue and ryushi are in love with each other. ryushi is an aspiring children's book artist. megumi is a person who loves to party. she always party in ryushi's room, causing ryushi to feel irritated because he has to do his schoolwork. she is a heavy drinker. sayoko is asami's mum and she is very irresponsible. however, she cares about asami a lot. they are poor and in their room, there are only cardboard boxes to be used as tables and chairs. asami is a very hardworking girl who always helps her mum to finish her work to earn money. she is a junior high student, which is in primary school, it think. yukio is a weird man who doesn't speak directly, but speaks through his puppet, johnny. oh yes, both ryushi and kozue LOVES umeboshi, which is actually..suan mei. sour plum? i think. it's really cute to see them eat it and say, "sour..!" together. haha. overall, i like this anime because it's nice and very heart-warming.
