back to animes. after watching nanoha, i watched rozen maiden. it got 2 seasons, and a prequel. it's about 8, or rather, to be exact, 7 dolls playing a game called the Alice Game. the doll who wins will see their creator, Rozen. and how do they win? it's easy, as long as you kill the other dolls and get their rosa mystica, which is like their 'heart', and you win the game. without the rosa mystica, the dolls cannot move, talk and will fall into a deep sleep forever. the 1st doll is suiginto. she is a doll who will stoop to anything to win the game. she is brutal and cold-blooded. also, she is the only doll who does not have a complete body,(she does not have her torso) and she is also the only doll that have wings. although suiginto seems to be cold-hearted, but she actually does care for others. the next doll is kanaria, who is adorable but weird as well. she fights with her violin which destroys with its sound. she is also sometimes arrogant and she is a very bright girl. the 3rd doll is suiseiseki, and she is souseiseki's older twin. she is timid and shy on the surface, but sometimes she has a very devious personality. she likes to bully jun, shinku's master, and also likes to scare hina ichigo. she cares a lot for the people around her, and do not hope that any doll will die in the Alice Game. thus, she tries to convince souseiseki into not participating in the game, but to no avail. she is the only one who opposes the game. she fights with her watering can, that can grow tall plants. souseiseki is the 4th doll. her appearance is the most masculine of all dolls. she is the opposite of suiseiseki, as she is rational, calm, quiet and deeply devoted to her master and to her duties, including the Alice Game. she fights with her shears, and is the 1st one to lose her rosa mystica. the 5th doll is shinku, the main character of the anime, and the 1st doll to appear in the anime. she is demanding and seems unappreciative of others, although that is not really the case. she may seem cold, but she cares a lot for the other dolls and for jun, her master. also, shinku seems to hold a special place in Rozen's heart, as he gave her a brooch with his face on it. however, it was destoryed by suiginto out of jealously. shinku wants to win the game, but refuses to kill the other dolls in order to win, and believes that there is another way to win, as told to her by Rozen. she fights using rose petals. hina ichigo is the 6th doll, and is childish and naive. she fights using stawberry vines, and is the 1st doll to lose the game, as she was beaten by shinku. however, she did not lose her rosa mystica as shinku did not take it. after that, Rozen made hina ichigo lose her rosa mystica to shinku, as she is supposed to long ago, and she died. barasuishou introduces herself as the 7th doll, though this is merely a ploy to dupe the other six dolls into entering the Alice Game so that she may obtain their rosa mystica. she is actually created by enju, Rozen's jealous apprentice, and not Rozen. she managed to get all the rosa mystica, but crumble to pieces after being unable to contain the 6 rosa mystica she absorbed, and died.(woohoo! lol.) the real 7th doll is kirakishou. none of the dolls have seen her before, which explains why they were duped by barasuishou. little is known about her, as she only made a brief appearance at the ending. her right eye is missing, and is replaced by a white rose. she is believed to fight with the manipulation of ice crystals. jun is shinku's master, as said earlier, and he is a human.(duh.) every doll have a master, or else they cannot move, talk and fight, because they have to get power from humans. so this is rozen maiden. want to know who won in the end? watch the anime. lol. it's real nice, and the dolls are very pretty. the plot is good, and quite fast-moving. =) oh yes, the dolls are called rozen maidens, which gave the name of the anime.
