after coming back from korea, i shall write a blog post about some conclusions i derived from my korea trip and compare my taiwan trip and this trip.
i have uploaded all the photos i took from korea on facebook! go look through okay. :) you all will see some of the places i went. hmm..many people asked me whether i feel the taiwan trip is more fun or the korean trip. my answer would be..the taiwan trip. :) actually, if i were to compare, in korea, i had better lodging, better food, and more interesting experiences. however, there is one crucial factor that made me feel that the taiwan trip was fun. that is, my friends! the feeling of going overseas with your friends is very different from going overseas with your family.
im not saying that the korean trip with my family isn't fun or anything. it was pretty fun actually, because i get to experience a lot of stuff, like plucking strawberries, riding a horse, riding a submarine, etc. but when im with theresa they all at taiwan, my mood is constantly uplifted. it doesn't matter what we are doing. we may be just slacking in the hotel room or going to boring places, but it's still fun to me. it feels great to have someone who understands how you feel and laugh along with you over something that is not funny at all.
another thing, korea is not really suitable for living. haha. those people who wants to move to korea after being obsessed with kpop idols, think again. korea is very dry, and as compared to humid singapore, it's pretty hard to get used to it. before i went to korea, my throat was already uncomfortable, so when i went to korea, because of the dry weather, i kept trying to cough my lung/throat out. lol. also, because of the dry weather, you will have to constantly apply lotion, which is very troublesome. haha.
when we were at korea it was around the first of may. but it was very cold! it rained on the first day and the wind is really big. i missed singapore when i was there. :P singapore is so warm all year round! i don't really like cold weather. when i was in korea all i want to do is to stay indoors. cold cold cold. and we have to keep wearing jackets or else we will catch a cold. i prefer singapore, where i can just walk out of the house with slippers and shorts and i don't have to worry about whether i forgot to bring my jacket, whether my clothing is appropriate for the weather, or whether it will be cold or warm on that day. however, when i came back to singapore i start to think why did i think this way. that is because, when i came back, singapore was 33 degree celsius! so hot! hahas. korea was 10+ degree celsius only. extreme eh. but overall, i still like singapore more la. actually, taiwan's weather isn't too bad as well. but we haven't experience the cold part of it yet so..
i feel that people like us, who grew up in a weather like singapore, would find it difficult to accustom to places with four seasons. i cannot imagine a weather with temperature like below 0 degree celsius. it would be horrible. so i shall be good and stay in singapore. :)
alright, i shall end of with a video! featuring my new kpop obsession (keke) : infinite! they are a relatively new boy group. hmm..rookies, i suppose? but they are very good! reminds me of shinee when they first debuted. quoting a comment i read, they are "a group who are hoobaes but perform like sunbaes". anyway, this song is nice! (im not being biased or anything. it's really nice.)
