it's a more relaxing day as compared to wednesday. wednesday was really packed right? we seem to squeeze a lot of places in one day. as for day 2, for our first stop we went to the National Palace Museum. over there we saw a lot of antiquities and learnt more about taiwan. too bad we couldn't take pictures in there, or else you people should see how clear the jade are and the interesting colour between blue and green which was considered to be difficult to make in the past. oh, i forgot to say why theresa didn't join us the previous night. im still pretty confused about the situation, but it seemed like theresa and her dad's secretary both made a mistake, so she only boarded the plane on thursday. thus, theresa only joined us later in the day.
after that, it was lunch! <3 keke. we had shabu shabu. something like..hotpot? it was delicious. but they have weird ingredients like duck blood and chicken blood omg. i really dont like these kind of stuff, especially intestines etc. anyway, after our nice lunch, we went to this place selling ceramics. meiling, yeeling and winnie bought souvenirs back. as for me, well i bought this 陶笛to play with keke! :)
after that, we set off to feng jia night market, where theresa joined us. :) let's start our shopping spree! hahas. because we had a time limit to shop, we da bao our dinner so that we have more time to shop. :P about the shopping part..i dont think there is anything much to talk about la..okay, so we went back to the hotel after that. this time, we had a hotel in taichung, which had no bugs (luckily haha). at night, we had our fashion show in the hotel, where we changed into our newly bought clothes and took a lot of pictures!
feng jia night market..
at night, we walked around the hotel area. there is this place called a-mart, presumably a shopping mall? okay to be exact it's a mart. there is nothing to shop there la. it's pretty boring. however, we found this shop where they have a promotion that take pictures to be placed in a keychain for NT $10. that's like, S$0.45? but like i said, it's a promotion..or else they can't earn much la haha.
day 3 (friday).
early in the morning we had breakfast at the hotel! oh, i remembered i ate scrambled eggs for all the breakfasts after that because the hotel always have scrambled eggs lol. yummy! our first stop of the day is the Chung Tai buddhist temple. it's a temple that has very nice surroundings and the building looked very modern, which is very different from other temples. at that point of time, the weather started becoming more warm. it feels a little like singapore..except singapore is much hotter of course.
Chung Tai Buddhist Temple..
next we moved on to the Puli winery. it's like an exhibition showing the history of the wine in taiwan. it was there where we learnt the skill of 自拍 keke! you people should see how meiling was hooked on to it haha. okay la not hooked on to it, but she became rather skilled at it. :) oh, yeeling started this whole thing by the way.
next next! we went to sun moon lake. over there, we also ate our lunch and visited the Wen Wu Temple. then we went shopping at feng jia night market again. it's our free and easy time. taiwan taxis are quite cheap, but sometimes the taxi drivers dont seem to understand our chinese. lol. we speak perfect chinese okay.
also, taiwan shoes are very nice and comfortable! unlike shoes sold in singapore, which are all very hard and they hurt our legs. this is probably the reason why 2 of our tour mates bought 10 pairs of shoes each from taiwan. a bit crazy la. well, women love shoes too much so..oh ya, and shoes bought from taiwan don't bite. ask yl and ml, who wore the shoes the next day they bought them. really miss taiwan shoes man..should have bought more keke. and they are cheap too.
this is random but i shall post a video of dbsk heh. bread, they are better than super junior okay. although there is only 2 people, they are handsome, they can sing, they can dance, they are humorous..they are almost perfect. explosive charisma. :)
