im back. oh fine, im already back on 18 dec, but because im tired, my bro was hogging the com despite the fact that he hogged the com for 5 whole days during my trip to hk(i hope he goes ns soon. sheesh.), i was doing other stuff on the net, and i fell sick just yesterday. not because of the trip, but because i ate some stupid cereals for breakfast that somehow gone bad and made me vomit for the whole morning after that. rahh.
anyway, my bro is like being 宅男nowadays. although me and my mum told him to go find a job, he refuses to go work alone. deng. it's different for me because i only have one month left, and no employer in the right mind would hire someone who can only work for a month, whereas my bro has 4 months, okay, around 3+ months, and employers like people aged 17 and above, so, conclusion: my bro should get a job and stop hogging the com!!
oh well. about the hk trip. first day. we were at the airport early in the morning to catch the flight to hk. we took sia! so cool..it's the first time im taking sia. =D on the plane, there is a screen, where you can play games, watch movies, etc. that way you wouldn't be too bored during the trip. when i told ml on the flight back that that time we went shenyang all we did on the plane was sleep, she gave me that shocked look. come on, sia is like so expensive can? we have a budget. okay, at least the teachers do. after we got off the plane, we went straight to disneyland. disneyland is so fun! we(me, yl, ml, tc, manda, lifen, winn) went to watch the parade with fake snow falling all over us. lol. then we were hungry, so we had lunch at a fast food restaurant. we refrained from eating chicken, of course. =) we went to the tarzan's treehouse, took a boat ride and stood on a raft! a big raft that can hold lots of people and ferry us to and from the shore to tarzan's treehouse. along the way, we cam-whored like crazy, of course. after that, we bought souvenirs at the shops and by the time we decided to move on, it's getting dark, but it's only like 6+. lol. if it's in singapore, it will still be bright and nice at 6+. =)
well, then we sat on the rides. i love the cinderella carousel, because i have always wanted to sit on one. especially at night, where it looks really spectacular. we spun at the mad hatter tea cups, and me, yl and winn were screaming without any particular reason. lol. after that, we started running about, because we found out that we had not much time to play le, and we even skipped dinner. we sat on the boat ride in "it's a small world", and me and ml were commenting that the figurines they made were so elaborate and delicate. we boarded the train at fantasyland train station that brought us back to main street, USA. after that, we shopped for souvenirs, and watched the fireworks, which was really breathtaking. we went back to our hotel, horizon suite, with 4 people sharing a suite and 2 people in a room.
2nd day. we had dim sum at the restaurant just beside the hotel. the scallop porridge is so delicious! but the siew mai does not taste as good as singapore's. ha. we went to ocean park. it is not as fun as disneyland, and i did not even sit on any rides. but i did buy a very cute pink penguin there! it's smaller than my palm, and it's called pi pi! =D she is now friends with doodoo! lol. i bet you people must be -.-". hoho. we took the cable car from the kids' world to the other side of the mountain. we went to see the show at ocean theatre, and me and ml noticed that the trainer is biased against one of the dolphins. so bad. we went to look at the fishes in the big aquarium. i didn't believe the tour guide when she said they are fishes that are bigger than her there, until i went to see for myself. ooh. =) manda was telling me they should make the fishes kind of swim around us, and i was like, singapore already done it. underwater world at sentosa? so cool. the sec 4s(the 7 of us plus lc and yt) walked around and they sat on the flying swing and the eagle before having lunch. the dragon, this crazy roller-coaster ride is so scary..we didn't sit on it la. haha.
after that, we took the cable car back to kids' world, although the teachers told us not to before as we have to take the cable car back to the meeting point later. but it's just so boring at that side of the mountain. lc has been wanting to play those games where you try your luck and win soft toys, so she went to play, and got herself a cute purple hippo. after that, we only had time to look at the pandas and we took the cable car back already, rushing for time again. we made the hippo sit on a chair in the cable car, and start taking pictures with and of it. ha. =D then we took the escalator(the longest escalator) down to the meeting point right at the other end, and as usual, we were not the last. =) the juniors were always late.
we went to the Peak. it's a place..right at the top? i don't know..it's just cold, and high up. p.s. im having running nose now. darn. can i take a rest? haiz.
okay, im fine already. let's continue. =) so we went to the peak and cam-whored. there is this funny Caucasian that said "sex" instead of "cheese" when we were taking pictures. er. oh well, then we went to shop, and the others got hello kitty cup noodles at the supermarket! haiz..i didn't manage to buy them because me, lifen, tc and winn lost the others and we shopped at the 2nd floor of the mall, instead of the 3rd floor, where they all were. anyway, after that i still managed to get hold of one of the cup noodles. ha. =D after that we went to the Bauhinia Square and Reunification Monument. bauhinia is actually a flower. im not sure if singapore has them, but, well, the bauhinia square marks the return of the former British colony to the People's Republic of China (PRC), and the establishment of the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong. there is a golden bauhinia statue there. right. =) oh well, after dinner, we walked down the streets of Central, and enjoyed the Christmas night scene in downtown Hong Kong, where there is a big Christmas tree. (TG who went hk: you copied that out of the itinerary, didn't you? by: oops. oh yeah. =P)
3rd day. this is the most boring day because we did boring things. well, except at the end of the day when we went shopping la. =) We went to True Light Middle School, which is a mission school, the old folks' home as part of the CIP program(although we sec 4s don't even need the CIP points at all..=P) and had a exchange programme with New Tune Music Association. they performed for us and vice versa. well, they are quite good but both our school and theirs have our good and bad points in our performance. =) later we went to Ladies' Street to shop. actually i don't really like to shop in these kind of places because i don't like to bargain. or rather, i don't really know how to because when the owners start getting fierce i will get scared. =P
okay, let's continue tomorrow, shall we? haha. =D
