HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE! =D
about the hong kong trip. again. 4th day. we had MacDonalds' breakfast. it's kind of interesting because their ham and the meat in the hotcakes are all pork. and their orange juice is such a small cup. lol. the hotcakes look a little burnt, too. =P after that we went to watch the rehearsal of conductor Yan Hui Chang of hong kong co for his performance on 19 dec. i heard that the conductor is a singaporean! and the people performing are all professionals..the pipa solo has such great skills! 看得目不转睛 wor..anyway, then we had korean bbq and steamboat buffet for lunch. it's like seoul garden, but seoul garden is nicer because there is chicken! haha. especially the teriyaki chicken..yum yum.
okay okay..we then went to the hong kong museum of history and science museum. although they felt that the science museum was boring, but i think it is okay la. it's actually quite fun..especially the visual effects and the tv station part. =) anyway, me, lifen, winn and tc went over to the history museum and cam-whored like nothing. at night, we went to look at the avenue of stars where there are many handprints of famous stars and watched the symphony of lights show. the buildings will shoot laser and with the music, it's a really nice effect.
5th day, also the last day. we had a school immersion with evangel college. their school is really large and nice! it's all white. also, they have a teacher who looks like mr chee! i think his name is mr sham or something. anyway, we were saying that mr chee might have a long lost bro in hong kong..lol. mr chee lookalike said he might go singapore someday and find mr chee. haha..at one o'clock we went to the airport for a flight back to singapore. on the flight, ml was sitting beside me, and we were commenting about the Caucasian kid sitting on my other side. because all remote controls are supposed to be back where they are when the plane is going up, but the kid is pulling at the remote, so me and ml were saying he might kill us all. haha. and then the headlines the next day will be like, kid kills the whole plane of passengers due to refusal to let go of remote control. LOL.
anyway, i must say this trip to hong kong has been very enriching and interesting. i also learnt more about hong kong through this trip. well, if there is a chance, i hope i would be able to go to more immersion programmes overseas! =D
